Frost Street Cambridge MA Project Architect: Erik Rhodin Size:11,000 s.f. Cost: $ 2 Million Date: 1987 A development of 5 single family houses with underground parking for residents and non-residents. On the very small site,pedestrian scale elements such as brick walks, trellises, and garden walls were used to evoke a sense of communal intimacy. The same elements also afford each unit a sense of privacy and individualism. The houses elegantly respond to the traditional fabric of Cambridge. |
